You choose how long download links stay active: 24 hours, 48 hours, 72 hours, 7 days, or 30 days. The window starts at the customer's FIRST download, not at the order, so a buyer who opens the email a week later still gets the full window.
Buyers can renew expired links themselves
When a link has expired, the download page shows a Renew button. One click restores access for the original window length. This is on by default and can be turned off in Settings under Customer self-service.
- Renewal only extends time. Download budgets are never reset, so it cannot be used to bypass per-file limits.
- Each purchase can self-renew up to 2 times; after that the buyer is pointed to the store.
- Refunded, rejected, or held orders can never renew.
