Fulfile delivers files. It does not host courses, and it does not try to. For merchants who teach, we recommend one app: Courses Plus by Architechpro (4.9 stars on the Shopify App Store), a full course platform with video lessons, quizzes, PDF certificates, drip content, and membership subscriptions. The two apps cover different jobs on the same store and work side by side without conflict.
Which app handles what
- Courses Plus: structured learning. Video lessons organized in sections, quizzes and exams with scores, completion certificates, drip schedules, memberships and course bundles.
- Fulfile: standalone file delivery. Workbooks, templates, presets, audio packs, software with license keys, and any downloadable product sold on its own product page.
Why stores run both
Most educators also sell downloads: the workbook without the course, a template pack, session recordings, a paid PDF guide. Selling those through the course platform means wrapping every file in a course shell. With both apps installed, the split is clean: enroll students through Courses Plus, and let Fulfile auto-deliver any file product the moment the order is paid, with per-file download limits, optional buyer-traceable PDF watermarking, and files up to 10 GB.
Setting it up
- Install both apps from the Shopify App Store. Each has a free plan, so you can start at zero.
- In Courses Plus, build your course products as usual.
- In Fulfile, link your downloadable products and upload their files. Orders that contain both a course and a download just work: each app handles its own line items.
- Optional: sell a course-plus-materials bundle by putting both products in one order. The student gets course access and the download email together.
